Muscle Hypertrophy simple means muscles are getting bigger. This can be a good thing or a not-so-good thing.
In my opinion, Bigger isn’t always better. I believe Bigger is Better when it is functional and not hindering. Too many lifters have taken muscle building to an extreme where it has become an obstruction to movement and athleticism. In this instance, I believe Bigger isn’t Better.
Bigger is Better physiologically speaking because the greater the muscle mass, the greater the capacity to fight disease, and potential overall health. It has some other perks, like looking better and being able to move heavy stuff.
Hypertrophy is an amazing adaptation that the Lord has provided for us and for our functioning as His human creation. We are marvelously made in His image, a Spiritual man, a Thinking man, and a Physical man; “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Gen 1:27
GOD made us in His image as a minor trinity (GOD the Father, GOD the Son, and GOD the Holy Spirit being the Major Trinity).
GOD Created us from dirt you know. He made Adam first and then Eve. He made Adam a physical being but he had no life until GOD breathed into him and gave him the breath of life. "The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." Gen 2:7
